We are sad to announce that the tour we were booked for this weekend in Italy has been cancelled! Carnal Forge had nothing to do with this cancellation..

We’re hoping to do this tour later this year!

Carnal Forge will do a mini tour in Italy between Feb 26 – Feb 28 2010!

28/02/2010 – Roma @ Init Club

We’re just waiting for the last pieces to fall in place, i.e. the flight tickets!

The band is really looking forward to doing the debut gigs with Chris behind the drums! See you there!

As promised, here’s the video of our first rehearsal with our new drummer Chris Barkensjö!

As posted earlier Carnal Forge have parted ways with drummer Stefan Westerberg, and have found a replacement in Chris Barkensjö! The band rehearsed for the first time this weekend with Chris, and we can only say that he does a KILLER job behind the drums! We’re looking forward to getting out on the road with Chris in the near future…

We will soon upload a video from the very first rehersal with Chris on our official Youtube channel, so stay tuned in the coming days to see more of him!

Here follows a statement from Chris to the fans:
”I got an offer that I just couldn´t refuse. So I´m very stoked about this opportunity the guys in Carnal Forge have given me! I will give it my best and hope to please you, the fans! I know that it will be a challenge, but so far rehearsals has been going more than well, and the satisfaction is mutual.

So I’ll see you guys in the frontlines when we strike your cities down!!

We are sad to announce that Carnal Forge and  drummer Stefan Westerberg have now parted ways. With Stefan being one of the founding members of Carnal Forge we’re sad to see him leave.

The good news are that we have already found a replacement for Stefan in Chris Barkensjö (also Construcdead / ex. Grave) to take on the skin battering of Carnal Forge.

Chris will do his live debut soon!

We wish Stefan the best of luck in his future endeavours and welcome Chris to the ranks!

We’re stoked about the new blood in the band, and can’t wait to get out on the road with this fresh installment!

Here’s a statement from Stefan:
”First of all….thank you guys!
I’m really happy that I got this change! I have known these guys for many years and now I feel that the time is right for me to move on and join Headstone. The rehearsals have been going great. I have been in Carnal Forge 11 years now but like I said….. It’s time for me to move on! I am excited and very happy that I got this change to do this with Headstone.

Because I know this band can go far…. Really, really far! We have 12 songs now and I’m looking forward to the recordings of the album. All I can say is that I hope you like this as much as I do! Because this will be a killer record, so remember….. Check out the web site for more news.

Finally ”Blood War” has been added to our official Myspace! We’ve had some problems with rights issues for some reason, so we haven’t been able to upload any songs for a while there, but now the problem seems to be solved! Enjoy!
